TruePrice: the quote is the price
When you lock the rate with a $99 deposit, the number does not change. If the carrier rate moves, we cover it.
What TruePrice actually means
TruePrice is simple: the quote you accept is the total you pay. There are no surprise fees, no upcharge if a carrier rate moves, and no extras tacked on at delivery. The number on your quote equals $99 deposit plus balance to driver on delivery.
The reason other brokers raise prices after booking is that they quote low to win the click, then negotiate up when no carrier accepts the load. We do not do that. Our quotes match real carrier rates from the live load board, and if we misjudge the rate, we absorb the difference. You pay what we said.
What TruePrice includes
Every cost baked into the locked rate.
Door to door pickup and delivery
Carrier comes to your driveway, delivers to the destination address. No terminal fees, no transfer charges.

Cargo insurance during transit
Every carrier we dispatch carries cargo insurance, typically $100,000 per load. Included in the quote.
Customer service from booking to delivery
Shelly and the dispatch team are with you the entire ride. No premium support tier, you get the same access either way.
Inspection forms and BOL
Pickup inspection and delivery inspection are part of every shipment. Standard, included, no charge.
Reroute if your address changes

How TruePrice works step by step
From quote to delivery, the price never moves.
1. Get a quote
We pull live carrier rates for your route, vehicle, and dates and give you a real number.
2. Lock with $99
$99 deposit locks the rate. We post your shipment to the carrier network at our quoted rate.
3. We absorb rate movement
If the carrier accepts at a higher rate than we expected, we eat the difference. You pay the original quote.
4. Pay balance on delivery
Quote minus $99 deposit equals the balance you pay to the driver on delivery.
Edge cases (what could change the price)
Honest list of when the price would change. All three are customer driven, never broker driven.
You changed the vehicle
Booked a sedan, switched to a 3 row SUV. Different weight, different rate. Tell us at quote time.
You changed the route
Booked Atlanta to Dallas, switched to Atlanta to Los Angeles. New route, new rate.
You delayed pickup more than 2 weeks
If you push pickup out by weeks, the load board has changed and we re quote at current rates.
Vehicle is non running and was declared running
Inop cars need a winch and are priced differently. Be honest at quote time so the carrier brings the right equipment.
You added stops or special requests
Two pickup addresses, three drop offs, etc. Each adds time, each adds cost.
Storage at the destination
If you cannot accept delivery within 5 days of arrival, the carrier may charge a storage fee. Not a Whipshipper fee.
Why other brokers raise prices and we do not
The bait and switch playbook is simple. Quote way below the market rate to win the click. Take a big deposit. Then either fail to find a carrier and raise the price to where a carrier will take it, or refund the deposit minus a cancellation fee. Either way, the customer loses.
Whipshipper quotes at real carrier rates from day one. Our margin is fair, our service is what you pay for, and our quotes hit the load board at numbers that actually clear. That is how we keep the price locked. We did the work to set it right the first time.

Every auto transport service we run
Auto transport is not one product. A dealer moving forty units off an auction lane, a collector shipping a numbers matching car across the country, and a family sending one sedan ahead of a move are three different jobs that happen to use the same highways. They need different trailers, different insurance limits, different loading equipment, and different scheduling. Quoting all three the same way is how customers end up with a truck that cannot legally carry their vehicle. Pick the line below that matches what you are actually moving, and the quote comes back against the right equipment the first time.

Most complaints in this industry trace back to something the customer was never told: that the first quote was a placeholder, that the broker on the phone is not the company driving the truck, or that personal items in the trunk are not covered by cargo insurance. None of that is complicated once somebody explains it. These are the explainers we send customers before they book, written to be useful whether or not you ship with us.
