Fleet logistics is about capacity and consistency.

Whether you run a corporate fleet of 800 cars, a leasing portfolio that turns 50 cars a month, a rental network rebalancing for summer peak, or a repo team moving asset recoveries, your needs are not retail. You need capacity, you need consistency, and you need a partner who can take a phone call about 40 cars at 3pm Friday and have a plan by Monday.

Whipshipper runs fleet as a separate desk. Dedicated project managers who track your inventory, your seasonal patterns, your problem lanes, and your high value units. Surge capacity when summer hits Florida or winter hits Phoenix. Monthly invoicing with PO and cost center support for your accounting team.

Insurance limits stay high. Reporting is built for fleet KPIs. Carrier vetting is the same standard whether you ship one car or one thousand a month.

Frequently asked questions

What is the minimum fleet volume?

We start fleet accounts at 25 cars per month average. Below that, our dealer or retail desks may fit better.

Do you offer locked annual rates?

Yes, for predictable lanes and volumes. Quarterly review with adjustment clauses for fuel and capacity.

What about surge season?

We pre commit carriers for known surge windows. Summer Florida, winter Sun Belt, post hurricane, post storm.

Do you handle executive fleets?

Yes. Enclosed transport, lift gate, climate control, and high limit insurance for C suite and executive units.

Can your platform integrate with our TMS?

API integration available. We can also do flat file exchange or EDI on request.

What insurance limits do you carry?

Standard $250k per car, up to $1M per car on request. Higher limits available case by case.

Do you handle EV fleets?

Yes. Battery percentage SOPs, enclosed when needed, charging at carrier yards. Tesla, Rivian, Lucid, Ford Lightning, all of them.

What is your billing cadence?

Net 30 standard, with weekly or bi monthly invoice cycles based on volume. PO and cost center support included.

How do I report damage or a delay?

Your PM is the single point of contact. Damage opens a claim within 24 hours. Delays are tracked in your dashboard with root cause notes.

Can multiple dispatchers manage our account?

Yes. Multi user portal access with role permissions. Dispatch, view only, AP only, manager.

Every auto transport service we run

Auto transport is not one product. A dealer moving forty units off an auction lane, a collector shipping a numbers matching car across the country, and a family sending one sedan ahead of a move are three different jobs that happen to use the same highways. They need different trailers, different insurance limits, different loading equipment, and different scheduling. Quoting all three the same way is how customers end up with a truck that cannot legally carry their vehicle. Pick the line below that matches what you are actually moving, and the quote comes back against the right equipment the first time.

By transport type

By vehicle

By who is shipping

Not sure which one fits? Call (888) 780-6207 and describe the vehicle and the route. A dispatcher will tell you which equipment it needs and what the lane is running, or start with an instant quote and adjust from there.

Read before you book

Most complaints in this industry trace back to something the customer was never told: that the first quote was a placeholder, that the broker on the phone is not the company driving the truck, or that personal items in the trunk are not covered by cargo insurance. None of that is complicated once somebody explains it. These are the explainers we send customers before they book, written to be useful whether or not you ship with us.
